Funding Entitlement

Children become eligible for Council Funding for the school term starting after their 3rd birthday.

Annual Funding is 1140 hours over 50 weeks = 22.8 hours/week.

The first 20 hours are taken as 2 x 10 hour full days which are funded by the Council, although there is a Consumables Charge of £6.00/day payable to the Nursery to cover extra-curricular items throughout the year - eg outings/trips, visits, extra artwork materials etc. Our full days are 7.30am to 6.00pm, and there is no charge for the extra half hour on funded days.

The remaining 2.8 hours/week may be set against either a regular 3rd Full Day (cost £60.00), a regular Morning (cost £34.00) or a regular Afternoon (cost £22.50), with the Morning and Afternoon sessions being available on Mondays or Fridays. If no regular booking outwith the first 2 regular fully funded days is required, the 2.8 hours/week may be accummulated over the funding year and taken as additional "Ad Hoc" Full Days on days to be agreed termly with the Nursery Manager.

Ante Funding Discount - From Month After 3rd Birthday to Beginning of Next Funding Term

A discount of 5% will be applied to chargeable fees from the month after a child's 3rd birthday and will apply until the beginning of the term in which they become eligible for a funded place. This discount is intended purely to assist those children whose birthdays may result in a significant delay in their becoming eligible for a funded place - in some cases this can be almost 5 months after their 3rd birthday, so the timing of a birthday can be significant. The sole purpose of this discount is to recognise this timing anomaly. This discount ceases when a child becomes eligible for a funded place regardless of whether they take a funded space with us.

Deposit

A £100 deposit is required to secure a space which is refundable against your first fee invoice.

Sibling Discount

All siblings each attract a discount on chargeable fees of 7.5% whilst two or more siblings both attend nursery at the same time. Sibling discount discontinues for all siblings when one or more siblings leave nursery and only one sibling remains at nursery.
